Drawing paper:This paper is designed specifically for drawing and is made in two shades, ivory and white.This is made basically like the rest of our fine art papers, but with superior sizing (closing of the pores in the paper), which makes it withstand rubbing much better; this feature is especially appropriate for art students, because it allows them to use a rubber without damaging the surface of the paper or the finished work.
This paper may be used with Charcoal, Sanguines and Pen and Ink techniques; and it behaves extremely well since, in practice, its finish prevents the ink from smudging, and this results in completely clean lines. This feature is rarely achieved in papers high in cotton; rather, it's a quality of traditional papers made with wood pulp (eucalyptus or pine) – the kind which are marketed under famous names such as Canson, Guarro etc.
